Apples and apple trees are a great topic for either a fall lesson or a back to school day.

Simple cut-out crafts are great because they are easy for kids of all ages to do – no need to cut them into circles, you can just get them to tear the paper into pieces of all shapes, although apples definitely look more delicious if they are red and round.

We use regular printer paper for this so it is easy to punch holes (or tear).
