Valentine’s Day is all about celebrating love and friendship, so why not have some fun with your kids by making Valentine’s Day crafts together? You can create simple Valentine’s Day art with watercolors or let your children have fun with our quiet Valentine’s Day book for learning and playing! Besides creating this amazing heart bouquet as a Valentine’s Day card.
What you need:
Fold a sheet of brown (or other colored) construction paper in half to make a card.
You can use any paper if it is a little heavier.
We will make paper flower bouquets by folding a sheet of paper into a fan.
Start folding from one end (valley fold and crease) of the red paper.
Continue until the entire red paper is folded.
We folded the paper fan accordion style.
Cut a wider strip of red paper and cut two triangles on each side to create a simple bow.
Squeeze the folded bouquet and glue it to the bow. Apply glue to the folded fan (one side only) and stick it on the folded card.
The bow must also be glued on brown paper so that it holds the bouquet in place.
Take a sheet of light pink paper and fold it in half.
Cut out half a heart to create a heart shape when opened.
Open your heart.
Create more hearts of different sizes using different colored paper.
Glue the heart shape onto brown card.
Repeat the process by pasting on all the hearts.
This heart bouquet Valentine’s Day card idea brightened our day!
All you have to do now is write a message inside and give it to someone you love.
Happy Valentine’s Day ❤ ️ 🌹 🌷!
