Cotton Round and Q-Tip Calla Lily Flowers

You can make these beautiful flowers with just a few things available in your home, grab some cotton balls, cotton swabs, straws and you will soon have a beautiful bouquet of lilies on your hands.

This is just one of many fun cotton swab crafts you can make (you’ll find more ideas at the end of this article).

Round trumpet flower with cotton swab and cotton swab

What do you need?

  • yellow paint
  • glue
  • cotton swab
  • green straw
  • round cotton

Dip a cotton swab in yellow paint and let it dry completely.

Once dry, push the undyed part onto the straw, it should stick if the straw and cotton swab are the right size, if not, add a little glue to get the two to stick together.

Place the cotton ball under the straw with the cotton swab as shown. Add a little glue to the bottom, now fold one side of the cotton ball towards the middle and pinch at the bottom to set the glue. Add a little more glue and fold the other side towards the bottom and pinch to set the glue (you should now have a lily shape).
