Craft Sticks Santa Craft – Christmas Crafts for Kids

Time for another fun craft! Today we’re going to show you how to easily make a Santa Claus craft. This little guy can be a decoration for your home or, if you add a little yarn to the back, can make a beautiful Christmas tree ornament.

Santa Craft Sticks

What you need:

  • 8 ice cream sticks
  • Brown craft paint
  • Googly eyes
  • Cotton
  • Red felt
  • Red Pom-Pom Ball
  • Drag
  • Hot glue/hot glue gun
  • Paintbrush

Lay out an old newspaper on your craft surface. Carefully cut a popsicle stick or craft stick in half, lay it out horizontally, and glue the remaining 7 sticks lengthwise onto the sticks. Paint the sticks tan and let dry.

Hot glue two googly eyes about 1″ from the top and a red Pom-Pom just below for the nose. Separate about 5 pom-poms and carefully glue them to the bottom of the popsicle stick for the whiskers. Now cut a hat about 7 popsicle sticks wide and hot glue it just above the eyes. Hot glue one pom-pom to the top of the hat and one split piece at the bottom of the hat.
