What you will need

  • Silhouette cutter
  • This Seahorse cut file (Zipped Silhouette Studio File)
  • black construction paper
  • heat press machine
  • heat press bag
  • sharp object

Don’t have a device? Do not worry! You will need it

  • This seahorse model
  • either a craft knife for dinner patients to cut the pattern out of black construction paper or a black permanent market to trace the pattern onto see-through plastic
  • (if you choose to use a plastic laminator and a manual knife method is also needed)
  • sharp object

If you’re using a Silhouette machine, open the file in Silhouette Studio and let the machine do all the work of cutting the file (resizing as necessary). Carefully remove from the mat (I used their spoon tool myself – works like a charm).

Once you have your design ready, place it in a laminating bag and roll it out.

Now all that’s left to do is get creative with color! Let it dry a bit and it’s ready to display in your window!
