Fingerprint Alphabet Art

If you need a way to keep your little fingers busy and study at the same time, try this fingerprint alphabet art!

Learning the alphabet can be difficult so fun approaches are always welcome, don’t you agree?

Each letter has a fingerprinting feature, and some letters even let you get more creative – all you have to do is dip those cute drawings in finger paint or imprinting ink pads fingerprints, press them down on a piece of paper (or several times in some cases) and doodle with black (and other) markers to bring little characters to life!

Fingerprint Alphabet Art

So there we were

A – apple (but you can definitely make an ant, an acorn and maybe even a crocodile!).

B – bee (I’m thinking butterflies would work too, definitely balls and balloons – that would definitely be adorable).

C – cat (I also think of carrots and chicks and I’ve seen quite a few cute fingerprinted chicks on Pinterest. Oh and a caterpillar!).

D – dog (same goes for a duck).

E – elephant (you can also make eyes).

F – flower (the frog also looks fun).

G – giraffe (goats, gorillas, grapes are others worth thinking about – it’s perfect for fingerprint art!).

H – horse (heart so easy to pass).

Me – ice cream

J – jellyfish or jelly however you want to call them.

K – key (any type is fun).

L – ladybug (delicious lollipop!).

M – monkey (mouse).

N – nest

O – octopus (owl)

P – pig (pumpkin)

V – violin.
