How to make a frog craft with paper strips

What you need:

  • toilet paper roll
  • red, green, dark green, pink paper
  • pencil
  • drag
  • glue
  • rose
  • Googly eyes

Step by step instructions

Head

Cut a strip of toilet paper.

Measure to the green paper…

…and cut a strip the same size.

Glue the green strip to the paper roll.

The mouth

Mark the same size strip of paper on the red paper.

And cut it out.

Cut the paper strip in half.

Continue gluing half of the strip (tongue) to the inside of the roll.

Eyes

Cut another strip out of the green paper.

Wrap it around the pencil…

…and glue them together.

Make two rolls and glue the bulging eyes on top.

These will be the frog’s eyes.

Feet

Draw legs and arms on green paper strips.

Cut them out.

Body

Roll a larger strip and glue them together.

Start bending your arms and legs.

Fold the paper strip about half way.

The view from above would look like this.

Stick them to the body.

Glue the front legs from the inside.

The front legs will come down from the front of the frog.

Stick the head to the body.

Draw a lotus flower shape on dark green paper and cut it out.

Stick the frog in there.

Tongue

Cut a thin strip of red paper and use scissors to wrap it.

Glue it to the inside of the frog’s head. That will be the frog’s tongue.

Draw a flower on pink or red paper.

Cut out and wrap the end of the petal.

Glue a pink pom pom in the middle of the flower.

Now glue the flower onto the water lily.

Your frog is done!

Isn’t it cute?

You can do a lot of things.

Enjoy your new amphibian friend!

Have fun!
