Why toss out bubble wrap when you can use it with your kids to create some fun Halloween art? This Halloween bubble wrap pumpkin art idea is great for kids of all ages because it’s super easy to make and looks great.
It introduces children to printing and patterns and improves their fine motor skills and scissor skills as they shape Jack-o-Lantern’s face.

Perfect to do at home or in the classroom.
What you need:
Start with a sheet of orange paper (you can also use white).
Ideally, the bubble wrap should be the same size as the paper, but you can also handle smaller pieces of paper.
Paint the bubble wrap with orange paint.
The paint must be “watery” to some extent, especially if you are working with young children so that the paint does not dry too quickly.
Flip over the painted bubble wrap and press it down onto the orange paper to print.
Lift off the bubble wrap to reveal your texture.
Let it dry completely.
Print the pumpkin outline template, cut it out and trace the bottom half.
You can also draw your own pumpkin shape.
Cut it out.
Use your cut pumpkin to trace and cut another pumpkin from the leftover orange paper.
You now have twins!
Glue the first pumpkin onto background paper (black paper looks best).
Then, glue the remaining one at the bottom.
Cut two triangular eyes from black paper and glue them onto the first pumpkin.
Don’t forget the pointy nose and scary mouth!
Do the same with the second pumpkin to create another Jack-o’-Lantern face.
You’re done!
Your super special bubble-wrapped pumpkin painting is ready for everyone to see!
Will you use it as a Halloween decoration?
