We love using paper rolls for everyday crafts as well as holiday fun like this Toilet Paper Roll Monster Trio.

With just a little paint and a few craft supplies, you’ve got yourself a collection of adorable Halloween-themed decorations that are so cute they’re not scary.

Grab some empty toilet paper rolls and start making these party monsters!

Here are some ideas for a crafty Halloween party:

A bandaged mummy (suitable for expired bandages)

Frankenstein’s monster

And a simple ghost perfect for all ages

How to Make Halloween Toilet Paper Rolls Crafts

You will need:

  • Toilet paper roll
  • Green, black and white craft paint
  • Googly eyes
  • Black seeds
  • White bandage
  • Craft glue
  • Black Marker Pen

Step by step instructions

The first thing you want to do is base coat each roll and let it dry. We painted the inside of the mummy black, Frankenstein green, and of course white for the ghost.

Let the paint dry completely, in the meantime you can apply another coat!

Once the paint is dry, you can start adding fun details.

Ghost – Like the mummy, we’ll glue the eyes on, then all you need to do is draw a moaning mouth with a black marker.

Mom- Glue googly eyes to your paint roll about ¾” deep and wrap with white gauze, making sure to leave your baby’s eyes sticking out a little! Glue each end down tightly.

Frankenstein- Frankenstein was fun to make, we glued little beads to his “neck” but if you don’t have any on hand you can use black buttons or small pieces of black pipe cleaner.

Glue on Frank’s eyes and draw his famous hair with a black marker, don’t forget to give him a mouth.

What other monsters can you create with toilet paper rolls?

You can keep doing this until you have enough to grind into powder!
