This Valentine’s Day craft will please both chicken lovers and non-chicken lovers.

How to make chicken heart crafts

What you need:

Step by step instructions

Print out our form.

If you let your child color in the template – let them color before cutting.

Cut out all parts of the pattern.

If using as a template, trace all parts of the pattern onto cardboard.

We redraw the chicken body on yellow cardboard.

The comb on red paper.

Feet and beak on orange paper and wings on pink paper.

Fold the chicken body in half to form a card.

Glue the wings to the body.

Fold the wings back or cut off the excess.

Stick on comb, legs and beak.

Also, draw eyes or glue on a pair of bulging eyes.

Done!

Your heart chicken dish is done.
