Hedgehog Origami For Kids

Time for another origami! This time we’ll be making a simple origami hedgehog, perfect for kids and beginners!

Over the past few weeks we have been making so many cute and simple origami designs for kids and we never get bored!

Origami hedgehog for kids

We were so excited to find an easy step by step tutorial to make an origami hedgehog because it looks adorable and is quite large when first made, plus it stands on its own, which is always fun!

You will need 7 sheets of origami paper for this (all 7 sheets are folded the same way) and if you are doing this with kids who have no experience with origami you will need to guide them through the folding slowly, don’t worry they are quite easy but may look complicated when you do them for the first time.

See folding instructions here.

What we love most about this game is that it can be a family project – each family member folds a few pieces and puts them together at the end. It’s fun!
