What you need:
A must-have book with over 100 easy-to-follow guided drawing tutorials for kids. With a variety of animals, magical creatures, vehicles, food, plants and more, your child will never get bored.
Start by drawing a bubbly cloud shape. This makes the canopy. You can also just draw an oval (however, although it sounds easier, drawing shapes like circles and ovals is actually a bit more difficult than this cloud shape).
Draw two vertical lines from the canopy. They have to be super short.
Draw a curved line from the canopy all the way to the straight lines you drew in the previous step.
Draw another set of curved lines, parallel to the first pair.
Draw two slightly curved vertical lines, starting from the top down.
Last but not least, let’s draw some tree roots.
All done! Now you know how to draw a simple tree. It’s easy! All that’s left to do is color it.
