How to make a ladybug paper craft

What you need:

  • Construction paper in various colors
  • Glue
  • Drag

Your kids will be excited every time they make a new craft. Plus, this ladybug’s eyes are so cute!

Step by step instructions

Go ahead and gather all the materials so you can start making the cutest ladybug craft ever!

You can even complete a “model” for your child, so they can see the final shape of the ladybug. Sometimes it’s nice for children to be able to see the image, so they know what the final result will look like.

Take half a piece of green paper and lay it flat. This will be what you glue the ladybug to!

Continue rolling a square sheet of black cardboard.

You can use glue or tape, whichever works best.

You will glue the black tube to the green paper. Again, you can glue or tape it.

Next, you will take a smaller piece of black cardboard and roll it up. You will tape the ends together as shown below.

This will become the ladybug’s head.

The head is an important part of this ladybug because it makes the ladybug look very friendly.

Take the red construction paper and cut out half a circle. You will want to do this twice. Have your child make small black circles on the red wings.

Next, the half circles will be glued to the black tube. You will want to glue them diagonally.

Last but not least, don’t forget to add some cute eyes and whiskers to this little cat!

Done.
