Introduce the letter C to preschool and kindergarten children with these free printable letter C worksheets. This set includes 12 engaging pages that will help your students master letter C (have you picked up our letter A and letter B worksheets?)
These worksheets accommodate varying levels of difficulty, making them suitable for both preschool and kindergarten students. Let’s explore the different pages in this series.
Set aside one sheet to practice the uppercase letter C and another sheet to practice the lowercase letter c. These worksheets will assist your little learners in writing the letter C correctly and distinguishing it from other letters.
Guide your preschooler or kindergartener through the steps of writing the letter C using this formation worksheet. Start by having the children color a picture of a crab to warm their hands. If so, encourage the use of a marker to highlight the large letters Cc and follow the instructions.
These easy coloring sheets are perfect for preschoolers. One page focuses on building vocabulary and familiarizing students with the sound of the letter C, as all of the images begin with the short C sound. The remaining worksheet has a variety of pictures, only some of which begin with the sound C. Have children color all of the pictures that begin with the sound C.
Letter recognition is also important, which is why there are 3 different worksheets specifically for that.
Once your students have mastered the basics of the letter C, use this worksheet to review their knowledge.
Alternatively, you can use this worksheet, which has enough variety to keep students engaged.
The Do a Dot Worksheet is great to start the “Letter of the Week” activity. They engage students and aid in letter recognition.
