How to make handmade paper plates for Mother’s Day

What you need:

  • paper plate
  • paper cup
  • pencil
  • drag
  • glue
  • paint brush
  • acrylic paint (blue and peach)
  • handmade sticks
  • marker pen (black, green and pink)
  • colored paper (blue, purple, yellow and peach)

Step-by-step instructions

Grab your paper plate and paintbrush and paint the plate a pretty pink color.

Cooking pot

Take scissors and a cup, cut a line on the wall of the paper cup.

After cutting a slit on one side, continue cutting a slit of the same length on the opposite side.

We need to cut the cup in half lengthwise.

Cut horizontally on each piece.

Petals

Draw the flower petals with a pencil on your purple paper.

Cut a line in the middle of each purple petal after cutting them out of the paper.

Gently bend the purple petals inward to create a more realistic look, then glue.

Take a pencil and draw a circle on the yellow paper.

Trunk

Start coating your craft stick in green.

Cover the entire bar.

Face

Cut out your yellow circle and draw a face on it with a marker.

Glue the purple petals to the back of the flower.

Continue adding petals until it looks like a beautiful flower.

The leaves

Draw two leaf shaped pieces on your green paper.

Cut them out and use a green marker to add lines and veins to the leaves.

Draw your next shape on orange paper.

Write a Happy Mother’s Day message with a black pen.

Take the glue stick and stick it on the white cup piece you cut out earlier.

Glue your message to the piece of cup.

Glue your green popsicle stick to the back of the flower.

Glue the leaves to the craft stick just below the flower.

Pull out the scissors and cut a small horizontal line in the bottom of the dish.

Glue your flower into the opening.

Push it further down to make the flower look like it’s popping out of the plate.

Add glue to the back of your paper cup.

Paste your message under the flower.

It will look like a flower pot!

Now you have the cutest crafts to make with kids.

Try and see how the flower moves.

Feel free to customize this flower to your liking by using a different color of paper for your petals.

You can always take the flower out of the pot and put it back in.

It’s perfect for teachers, babysitters, and anyone who wants to make a thoughtful gift for their mom!

Enjoy!

And good luck with your manufacturing!
