These adorable little flower crafts are a great spring craft activity to do with kids, either at home or in the classroom. Since you can make them in different sizes, they can be used in many different ways.
Have each student make one and use them as a great spring bulletin board. Make them a little smaller and let the kids make their own holiday greeting cards. Or just make them for fun.
What you need:
Draw the basic shapes for this craft on cardboard (you can use our template – we share it at the end of this tutorial).
You will need an oval for the flower, a long rectangle for the stem, and two leaf shapes. You will also need a group of smaller rectangles that will form part of the flower.
First, glue the ends of the small rectangles together to form small rolls of paper.
Glue the rolls of paper to the large oval, you can do this by gluing the oval or gluing each roll of paper.
Paste one by one.
Until you are satisfied with the shape of the paper hyacinth.
Stick the leaves in the steam. Stick the flowers to the stem too.
Let the glue dry.
