It’s time to get creative with paper plates and since Halloween is coming up we decided to make a black cat out of paper plates (although these cats would be fun in any color)!
We have made a bunch of animal crafts from paper plates already, animal crafts are always fun and they are such an economical craft material!
This is the perfect Halloween craft for kids, you can even add a witch hat for an extra cool look! Plus, since this craft will twist and turn when hung up, it also makes a fun classroom or home decoration for Halloween!
What you need
Paint the plates black. Cut out the larger plate – making a swirl.
Cut out 4 legs and 2 ears from cardboard. Color it black (only color the edges with ears). Cut out eyes and a snout and glue them onto the head. Glue the ears onto the head.
Glue the head in the middle of the swirl. Glue the feet along the swirl. Use a silver (or white) gel pen to draw on the claws and brush. Meow meow ;).
