Paper Plate Dog Craft

With just a few supplies and a little creativity, you can create a cute and adorable husky that is sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face.

Using a paper plate as the basis for a craft makes it an affordable option that can be done anywhere, anytime.

So, grab some scissors, glue, and markers to make this craft an easy task.

How to make a Husky paper plate

What you need:

  • printable template
  • pencil
  • drag
  • glue
  • paper plate
  • colored paper (pink, blue, grey, white and black)
  • paint brush
  • marker (white and black)
  • gray acrylic paint

Step-by-step instructions

Paint the paper plate with gray acrylic paint.

Cut out the template.

Draw the most important part of the ear on gray paper twice.

Draw around the husky’s medium inner ear, mouth, eyebrows, and the line between the eyes on white paper.

Draw the small ear parts (inner ear) and tongue on pink paper.

Now you will draw around the eyes on blue paper.

Draw around the nose and eyeballs on black paper.

Cut them out.

Glue the pink inner ear to the medium sized white inner ear.

Go ahead and stick them on the giant gray ears.

Glue black eyeballs over blue eyes.

Glue the white line between the eyes, then the mouth onto the paper plate.

You’ll also want to glue your eyes, eyebrows, and nose on it.

Glue the heart nose on the husky dog.

Draw the mouth with a black marker.

Glue the tongue.

Glue the ears onto the paper.

Draw small circles in the eyes with a white marker.

Draw black dots on the husky using a black marker.

The finished product is this husky paper plate that is easy to use for kids of all ages!

You can glue a loop of yarn to the back of a paper plate and hang it on the wall.
