Simple Reindeer Paper Craft

Today we want to share with you the simplest reindeer paper craft idea, take out your cardboard and start creating.

Reindeer are a really fun December craft theme, they are perfect to get you in the Christmas spirit.

We really love sharing Christmas craft ideas for kids, big or small, this is one of the best craft holidays of the year, when there is plenty of time for the whole family to sit together and bond while working on creative projects together.

These paper reindeer are especially great because they are both fun to make and adorable DIY Christmas decorations that kids can make to decorate their home or classroom.

You can quickly make all of Santa’s reindeer and with a little imagination, add Santa’s sleigh for a great display.

How to make simple reindeer paper crafts

What you need:

  • brown construction paper
  • dark brown construction paper
  • red paper
  • wiggle eyes or black marker or black paper for eyes
  • glue
  • drag

Or follow the step-by-step instructions below

Fold a sheet of brown or A4 paper in half.

Cut about a quarter to make the reindeer body shorter (but it’s okay to leave it longer too).

Cut a U shape (do not cut into the creased side).

Round the edges on one or both sides.

Cut out the head shape from scrap paper (U shape).

Apply glue to the body – one end…

And stick it on your head.

Glue or draw eyes.

Cut out a nose from red paper (or dark brown if you are making other reindeer).

Cut ears and tail from scrap paper.

Glue the tail and ears.

Cut gauze from dark brown cardstock.

And stick them on your head.

Done! You have completed your super simple paper reindeer craft.

Now, depending on the size and weight of the paper, the reindeer may need to fold its legs at the bottom to stand, but with the size we used, it should stand on its own.
