Halloween is fun! We love doing all sorts of Halloween crafts – we did a similar set of Halloween cards where one object turns into another (bat into vampire, etc) so these just had to be next.

Open a pumpkin lantern to see a ghost…

…a vampire…

…the evil witch…

…a cat…

…and a monster.

What you need:

Step by step instructions

Print out the templates manually. You’ll find both full-color and black-and-white templates, print out the one that works best for you (or both).

If you print out black and white Halloween cards, the first thing you’ll want to do is color them in. You can also let your child color the background.

Once you have finished coloring, cut around the rectangle outline.

Let’s make a card! Fold along the dotted line at the top…

…and align the top dashed line with the bottom dashed line.

Press down firmly so that the fold created by aligning the dashed lines becomes nice and sharp.

Done! Your surprise pumpkin Halloween card is complete.
