Toilet Paper Roll Easter Craft – Baskets

These handmade Easter toilet paper rolls are a fun project for kids and would make a great decoration to display colored eggs!

You just have to love toilet paper roll crafts – it’s such a thrifty craft and there’s nothing you can’t do with them!

These little baskets are really fun and can hold larger eggs quite nicely. If you have smaller eggs, you can fill the basket with paper grass (I think this will make the baskets look even cuter).

What you need to make this toilet roll Easter basket:

– toilet paper rolls – paint or colorful paper – scissors – glue – Easter eggs

First, we will color the rolls of paper (or stick some colorful paper on them – we start by coloring and then decide to use paper).

Once they’re dry, cut them in half or in a zig zag pattern if you’re making a hay basket like we did.

Cut a long strip of paper and glue it to the inside of the tp roll to form a dome shape – this will be a handle.

To decorate your little creations, you can also cut out wings and beaks for chicks, long ears for rabbits, and flowers for grass (we used a hole puncher to create small circles).
