Bugs Egg Carton Crafts

Error! We love bugs (though not at home)! These insect egg carton crafts are great for all ages and there really are so many different types of insects your kids can create – the sky’s the limit.

These are great for learning about errors and you can even add some

error coloring pages to make learning more fun!

While we all tend to have a spare egg carton or two in the house, there’s no better time of year to make egg carton crafts than Easter… There are so many egg cartons – they just keep piling up!

You can actually turn this craft into an open-ended one – just cut the egg cartons a variety of ways – one “cup”, two, three or give and watch as the kids create these Scary little cow there. If you have a few pipe cleaners around, you can let the kids use them to make insect legs!

We created quite a few different species of bugs – ladybugs of all kinds, beetles, bees, scary looking spiders, caterpillars and ants. A grasshopper with the help of pipe cleaners can certainly do it and so can a butterfly!

Ready? Make some mistakes!
