How to make star-shaped cardboard Christmas ornaments
What you need:
- cardboard
- pencil
- drag
- glue
- white lining
- black lining
- piece of fiber
Step-by-step instructions
Take a piece of cardboard and let the kids draw a star shape with a pencil.
You may find our star drawing tutorial useful here.
If working with younger children, it may be helpful to draw the lines with a black marker so it’s easier for them to follow the lines as they cut.
Carefully cut out the star shape.
Next, you will need a white liner or a powder liner.
Start drawing patterns and details on the cardboard stars.
They’re starting to look good enough to eat.
Now, let’s turn them into decorations. Take a piece of yarn and tie the ends together.
Attach a loop of yarn to the back of their star.
After completing the first task, you and your child will ask for more.
Do you love your new DIY Christmas decorations?
We think they are the greatest!
