Halloween crafts are the most fun crafts to make; You can make them cute, you can make them spooky, and you can make them scary. Witches are one of the most fun themes to work on and if your child isn’t interested in making such an item, why not let them try drawing a witch?
What you need:
Start with the background. Any shape will do, but this portrait piece really stands out in a circle. Cut a circle from black (or other) construction paper.
You can also use regular paper and glue it onto cardboard (cereal boxes are great for this).
Draw an oval on a piece of green paper (make it smaller than the circle). Also, draw lines for the neck.
Cut out the witch’s green face.
Now let’s move on to the hair. Take a piece of orange paper. Draw the top part of the witch’s head and draw a straight line from both sides. You will see an elongated semicircle. Cut it out.
Cut into this shape, making strips about half an inch/one centimeter wide. Don’t interrupt.
Starting at the end, roll the paper strips (you can roll them around the pen or roll them unrolled). Slightly open them. This will give our witch a nice little head of hair.
Want to make your hair even more beautiful? Add a few strips of paper and roll them up.
This witch sure has stylish hair!
Cut circles out of white paper, draw the details and glue them on. Alternatively, you can also use googly eyes.
Cut a triangle shape for a hat and glue it to the top of the head.
Also, add a long rectangle to the hat as well as other details.
All has been done!
