This is a great project for the classroom because you will have a whole flock of birds to decorate the classroom.

How to make a bald eagle craft

You will need:

  • craft stick
  • miniature craft sticks
  • brown and yellow cardboard
  • white craft paint
  • paint brush
  • drag
  • Googly eyes or round punches
  • hot glue/hot glue gun

Step by step instructions

Place two miniature craft sticks horizontally and glue about 5 regular sized craft sticks vertically onto the remaining sticks.

Paint the base of the craft stick white and let dry.

Measure a piece of brown paper about 3 inches tall and 5 craft sticks wide and glue it to the bottom of the craft stick base.

Cut 2 brown wings from brown paper and glue to the back of the craft stick base.

Cut out a small yellow triangle, fold it in half, and curve the top a little…

…and glue the white part in the middle of the head, then glue two bulging eyes above the beak.

Cut two yellow claw-like feet and glue them to the bottom of the eagle’s back.

Your handmade bald eagle is now complete.
