Crocodile Clothespin Puppets

From crazy to cute, this crocodile and alligator clothespin puppet set has it all!

The crazy green alligator is our favorite, but we know your kids can create an even cooler alligator if they color it themselves.

We’ve shared with you a number of clothespin puppet sets, but this one might be one of our favorites – just check out the crazy green alligator and say you don’t love him or her.

With their crocodile and alligator head shapes, they are the perfect material for making clothespins.

How to make crocodile and alligator clothespins

What you need:

Step by step instructions

Print the activity sheet on cardstock.

Colorize your designs if you print the black and white version. You can really go crazy with the colors here.

Time to cut! Cut out the shape of the alligator and crocodile.

Next cut along the mouth line (marked on the template).

Apply glue to the clothespin and glue the puppet to the clothespin, head at the top…

…and the body with the head at the bottom of the clothespin.

You can also glue another alligator or crocodile image facing the opposite direction on the back of the clothespin.

Done, your crocodile and alligator clothespin puppet is ready to play.
