Raise your hand and shout “yummy” if you love ice cream as much as we do!

The ice cream is delicious, isn’t it? We can’t stop eating it.

Today’s project is going to be a super awesome one.

We have created the sweetest ice creams for you to enjoy.

And guess what?! You can’t melt them in the sun, so they basically last forever.

How to make handmade paper ice cream

What you need:

  • ice cream stick
  • Self adhesive googly eyes
  • drag
  • glue
  • double self adhesive foam tape or square foam

Step by step instructions

Let’s get started!

Print the template – you will find the template at the end of this guide.

You can use the colored version or the black and white version if you want to color the ice cream to your liking.

Then use scissors to cut out the shapes.

We will start making the cone part first.

Cut some foam tape and stick it on the back of the frosting (on the strawberries, on the cherries, and on the cream).

Remove the protective film …

…and stick the frosting on each ice cream cone.

Then take the self-adhesive googly eyes and stick them onto the ice cream ball as shown in the picture.

Put a little glue on the tip of the popsicle stick…

…and glue them onto other ice cream shapes.

Let the glue dry.

Add round eyes to the remaining frosting to bring them to life.

Now we will make 3D ice cream.

Stick some foam tape on the circles, rectangles and stars…

…and place them into individual ice cream molds.

Don’t they look cute?

You will need to combine colors, shapes and sizes.

Done!

OH!

Isn’t this project awesome?

Share these popsicle sticks with your friends, family or decorate your room with them.

You can take some nice pictures and send them to us so we can see the joy this project brings you!
