How to make cute Christmas penguin crafts
What you need:
- pencil
- drag
- glue
- colored paper (red and orange)
- construction paper (light blue)
- black paper
- White paper
- cotton balls/white pom poms
Step-by-step instructions
Cut out two circles; Black should be slightly larger than white.
Apply glue to the white circle and apply glue to the black circle. Wait for the glue to harden.
Fold the edges of the circle toward the center (at a slight angle). This will shape the penguin’s wings.
Fold the top down. This will create the penguin’s head.
Cut two white circles for eyes and glue them to the head (or use googly eye stickers).
Use a black marker to draw dots inside the eyes.
Cut a small triangle from orange or yellow paper.
Have your child fold the orange rectangle in half, draw a foot on it, and then cut it into a shape.
Glue the legs to the penguin’s body.
Make small cuts along the inside of the wing to achieve a feathery appearance.
Apply glue to a piece of light blue construction paper (or whatever you choose) and stick the penguin on it.
Cut out a hat shape.
Glue the hat onto the penguin’s head.
Next, glue the white pom pom to the tip of the hat.
Glue the cotton ball to the edge of the hat.
Christmas penguin craft is complete!
You can also ask the kids to add snowflakes to the background – with paint-dipped Q-tips or markers.
Wishing you successful manufacturing.
