Have your child color the entire Fairy Tale Coloring Page Set with their favorite markers. Want to learn How to draw a fairy – it’s simple with our step-by-step tutorial.

Today we want to show you the little forest fairy pine cone craft we made.

We think it’s awesome.

Do you find this project interesting enough to create with us?

There are a few simple steps to follow and you will have this forest fairy at your home working her magic.

How to make handmade fairy pine cones

What you need:

  • a small cone
  • a small cone
  • a thin branch
  • red ribbon
  • yarns
  • drag
  • hot glue
  • black marker
  • silver marker pen
  • an acorn
  • a cup of acorns
  • two dry helicopters
  • chenille bar (optional)

Step-by-step instructions

Body

Apply some glue to the bottom part of the cone and attach the egg to it as shown.

Cut out the hairs and glue them onto the acorn with hot glue.

Take the acorn cup, put some glue inside and stick it on the acorn like a beret.

Cut a piece of red ribbon and wrap it around the fairy’s neck like a scarf.

Seal its ends with hot glue.

Wings

Take a silver marker and color the helicopters with it.

Apply some glue to the back of the fairy, under the scarf, and attach the helicopters as wings.

Our fairy has already acquired such a shape.

Take a silver marker and color the edges of the cone.

Paint the top of the beret silver as well.

Magic wand

Apply some glue on the branch and stick a small cone on it.

Color the magic wand (only the branch) with a silver crayon.

Apply some hot glue to the branch (just below the middle of the branch) and glue the magic wand to the left side of the cone so it looks like the fairy is holding it in her right hand.

Use a black marker and draw two closed eyes with lashes and a singing mouth on the acorn (fairy’s face).

If you want to hang the fairy somewhere (like on a wall), cut a piece of chiffon fabric, make an “O” shape, and glue it to the fairy’s back.

This step is optional.

All has been done!

Our fairy is ready to cast a spell of goodwill on everyone!
