We’re proud to share some lovely ideas for Mother’s Day cards – last year our tulip heart card went viral, bringing joy all over the world, and the year before this heart card was a hit, we hope this year’s project will be a hit in the classroom too.
What you need:
Print out our template. Print the card base on green paper and the second page on floral paper (we used pink in this tutorial).
Cut out the card base and flower stem…
As well as the small strips of paper from the second page.
Put a little glue on one end of the paper strip and stick the two ends together, forming a teardrop shaped ring.
Do the same with the remaining paper.
Fold the card base in half (along the lines between the circles).
We recommend that you write a message at this time.
Apply glue to the card base and glue the paper rings on.
Make another round with paper loops if you want the flower to look fuller.
Glue the head image onto the yellow circle (cut from yellow construction paper). Glue the circle and stick it in the middle of the flower.
Stick to the flower stem.
Done! You have completed your Mother’s Day Flower Card.
If you haven’t already, write a special message inside the card.
This must be a memorable card, right?
