Flower Petal Counting to 10 Activity

Counting is a skill that every child should learn. However, making it fun can be a challenge. This counting to 10 petal activity will make learning to count to ten easy.

Once your child learns to count to ten, you can change the numbers to make them higher! This is a fun but basic activity that anyone can enjoy doing with their child.

How to Prepare This Petal Count to 10 Activity

What you need:

  • Carton
  • Orange, green and yellow paper
  • Pencil
  • Black Marker Pen
  • Drag
  • Glue

Step by step instructions

Now is your chance to make learning more fun! This counting to 10 flower activity is sure to keep your kids busy and learning for a while.

Cut a thin strip of green paper.

Draw two leaves on green paper and cut them out.

Aren’t these leaves cute? You can easily make them by hand drawing.

Draw a circle on the yellow paper and cut it out, you will need 11 yellow circles, this is the middle part of the flower.

Look how fun this pile of yellow circles is!

Number from 1 to 10.

Draw petals on orange paper.

Just cut it out.

Then you will draw about 9 times on paper, then cut them out.

In no time you will have a beautiful pile of orange leaves like this!

Now we will start assembling the flower.

Glue the flower stem and leaves onto white cardboard.

Now you can arrange the flower counting game as you like!

As you can see, this counting game allows a person to change the numbers. This is a great activity to teach someone how to count from 1 to 10.

It’s easy to see how this activity/craft could help someone learn to count.
