Today we will use leftover pencils to make handmade flowers. Leftover pencils, WHAT?!
We bet you always throw away the pencil sharpener and never use it to create cool crafts, right? Well, never throw it away again because it can be used for creative projects. Here is a sweet spring craft idea for kids to do.
Every color looks great!
Incorporate your project with other recycled materials – like sequins from old clothes (or other materials).
What you need:
Take your pencil sharpener and start sharpening your round pencil.
You can make several circles for one flower. Do it gently and slowly.
Make some flowers using different colored pencils.
Apply a small amount of glue to the bottom of the cardboard.
Attach the beads and wait for the glue to set. You can use a variety of materials or just paint the grass.
Apply some glue to two flowers and place them on the paper.
Wait for the glue to dry.
Use a black pen, felt-tip pen, or pencil to draw the stem and leaves.
Color the stem and leaves with green pencil.
Draw and color some little birds around the flowers. They will definitely add to the spring atmosphere.
Done!
Hope you enjoy today’s project.
