You will complete this project in no time – it is not difficult.

How to Make a Hatched Easter Chick Paper Craft

What you need:

  • drag
  • circular ruler
  • pencil
  • a sheet of colored paper of your choice for the egg (we used blue and green cardboard)
  • yellow paper
  • orange paper
  • white cardboard
  • round hole punching machine
  • glue
  • split pin
  • Googly eyes

Let’s create!

Step by step instructions

Draw an egg shape on colored cardboard with a squiggly line down the middle to make the egg look cracked.

Use scissors to cut out the shape.

Now you have two egg parts.

Take the split pin and attach the pieces together on one side.

On a piece of white cardboard, draw several circles of different sizes.

Use a circular ruler.

Use scissors to cut out circles.

Apply a little glue to the white circles and stick them onto the eggshell.

Punch out a yellow circle using a circle punch.

Cut two small triangles from yellow paper.

Apply some glue to the ends of the triangles and stick them to the yellow circle as shown in the picture.

Cut out an ‘Ш’ shape from yellow paper.

Apply some glue to the bottom of this shape and stick it to the top of the yellow circle.

Place the googly eyes in the yellow circle.

Cut a triangle out of orange paper.

Glue the triangle to the yellow circle in the middle.

Our little chicken is ready to be placed inside the egg.

Apply a little glue to the bottom of the chicken and stick it to the back of the bottom eggshell as shown in the picture.

Seal the eggshell on top.

Done!

Feel free to play with this interactive egg and share this project with your friends.

We bet they’ll go crazy for it!

Hope you find this project interesting.
