How to Make Frankenstein Mason Jar Crafts

  • Mason Jar 16oz
  • Green spray paint
  • Black acrylic paint
  • Big round eyes
  • Hot glue/hot glue gun
  • Small paint brush
  • Sharpie black marker

Spread out some old newspapers before you start as things can get a little messy.

In a well-ventilated area, spray paint the glass jar green and let it dry for several hours or overnight.

If young children are doing this project, acrylic paint would be more suitable – but you may need to apply more than one coat to get the desired look.

Paint the Mason jar lid ring black and let dry.

Screw the black cap ring onto the green jar and glue the 2 fake eyes onto the front of the jar towards the top.

Using a black marker, draw a zigzag mouth below the eyes and a few stitches around the face.

Use a small black paintbrush to paint the mouth and seams and let the jar dry.
