We’ve gone for bright colors because it’s a happy ghost, but your child can also choose more traditional Halloween colors.
Orange and purple go well with this color, as does black.
What you need:
It’s best to work with a white sheet of paper, but other colors work too. We recommend using heavier construction/printing paper.
Print out our ghost template or draw your own ghost.
Cut out the ghost outline and place it on the paper. You can secure it with a little washi tape (or similar) underneath the ghost, especially if working with young children.
Have your child draw around the ghost template.
Switch to another paint color and continue dabbing.
Add another color; More colors mean more fun.
Children can add as many colors as they like.
Let the paint dry a bit and then carefully remove the ghost template.
Let the paint dry completely.
Draw the ghost’s eyes and mouth using a black marker. You can also use googly eyes.
All done!
Ghost Halloween art is complete.
Prepare to impress your friends and family with your unique, colorful spooky creation.
These are also great to make in the classroom and would look fun on a bulletin board.
