Ghost Windsock Toilet Paper Roll Craft

Ghosts are scary. Try scaring them away by making this Ghost Windsock toilet paper roll craft!

You can create normal looking ghosts or you can make them friendlier by adding colors.

With Halloween just around the corner, we thought it was the perfect time to share this awesome Halloween craft with you. It makes a great classroom decoration, especially if you are planning a Halloween party.

This project is great for kids from preschool to older because it’s fun and easy to do.

How to Make a Ghost Windsock Toilet Paper Roll Craft

What you need:

  • toilet paper roll
  • white paint
  • white tissue paper
  • glue
  • drag
  • black paint or black marker
  • thread to hang
  • hole punching machine

Step b Instructions

Start by painting the toilet paper roll white. You may need more than one coat.

Allow the paint to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Once the paint is dry, punch two holes to thread the yarn into one side of the paper roll.

Thread the yarn through the holes…

…and tie it tight.

Use a black marker or black paint to draw eyes and a mouth on the ghost.

Cut long strips of white tissue paper.

Add glue to one end of the tissue paper strip and stick it to the inside of the toilet paper roll. Repeat with the other tissue paper strips.

Done! Your Ghost Windsock toilet paper roll is ready to hang and dance in the air, scaring the monsters away.
