This simple stand would be really fun to make, especially for kids as they’ll be able to admire (and show off) their ingenuity at the dinner table.
How to make turkey hand crafts
What you need:
- brown construction paper
- two clothespins
- orange, brown and yellow paint
- Googly eyes or googly eyes stickers
- yellow paper
- glue
- drag
Step by step instructions
Trace your hand onto brown cardstock and cut out the outline.
Paint four fingers (except thumb) fall colors to make the turkey’s tail.
Let the paint dry.
Cut a small triangle out of yellow paper and glue it to your thumb to make a beak. Also add a bulging eye.
If you want to turn this turkey handprint art into a fun Thanksgiving decoration, paint two clothespins orange. These will serve as the turkey legs and hold your guests’ names.
Clip the painted clothespins to the turkey.
