Our heart tulip card was a hit for both Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day! We’re going one step further and adding more hearts, all hearts, to create a truly memorable Mother’s Day card!
There is a template for this purpose (you can get the template at the end of the tutorial), but you can also easily do it without a template.
What you need.
Print out the template. Prepare colored paper for crafts. Cut out the pieces of the template and trace them onto the colored paper.
We will start with the largest heart which will be used as the base of the heart. Fold the selected paper in half and draw a heart shape next to the fold (one side of the heart aligns with the fold). Cut out the heart shape from the card.
Draw and cut out small hearts. You will need about 8 hearts for the flowers and 4 green hearts for the leaves. Fold them in half.
Draw a smaller heart shape within the larger heart onto light colored paper and cut it out. Fold it in half to mark the center and unfold.
Glue the first folded heart half onto the lighter colored heart, along the fold.
Continue gluing the other hearts into a circle.
You can also add leaves.
You’re almost done! All that’s left to do is glue the heart with the flower inside the heart card. And we’ll add a personal message!
