We love pop cards (just check out our super popular tulip heart card) and this simple handmade card is an easy way for kids to practice their fine motor skills and creativity.
Kids will love cutting and pasting the cutouts. Not to mention, pop-up cards always surprise kids.
Why buy regular greeting cards when you can make them yourself, right? So gather the necessary materials and let’s start crafting!
What you need:
Start by folding the cardboard to create the base of the card.
Cut a piece of colored paper the same size as your card and fold it. Cut slits along the folded part.
Glue it to the inside of the card. Leave some gaps to create a pop-up stand.
Cut out a heart shape and glue it to the front of the card.
Cut out several hearts of different sizes.
Glue the heart shape to the pop-up holder and other parts of the card.
Done!
Your pop-up Valentine card is ready to be sent to your loved ones. Make more cards like this and personalize them if you want.
