Make this Valentine’s Day by making cute animal heart crafts – when it comes to Valentine’s Day crafts, it really doesn’t get any cuter than these. There are so many fun creatures you can make.

In this tutorial we will show you how to make a bear heart craft – you can use regular brown (or black and white if you want to make a panda) or you can make a very cute Valentine heart by choosing colors in the red spectrum.

How to Make a Heart Bear Craft – DIY Valentine’s Day Card

What you need:

  • Our bear card template (optional)
  • construction paper in various shades of brown (or substitute with coloring material)
  • drag
  • glue
  • Googly eye patches or black marker

Step by step instructions

Start by printing the template.

If your child plans to color the template pieces, we recommend coloring them before cutting. If your child plans to use them as stencils to color on construction paper… Cut!

Draw two hearts connected together on light brown paper.

Also, draw a larger heart shape (marked as ears) on the same piece of paper.

Draw a small (not the smallest) heart shape – the snout – on beige paper.

And the smallest one is on dark brown or black paper.

Cut out all the hearts.

Fold the two hearts together into a card.

Apply glue to the part of the heart with the “ears” and stick them to the back of the heart card.

Turn over. Glue the beige “snout” heart and stick it onto the card.

Last but not least, glue the nose to the card.

Open the card and write your message.

I love you so much bear seems reasonable :).

Add two fake eyes or draw eyes on the card and you’re done.

Congratulations! Your bear heart card looks amazing.
