How to Draw a Bear – Step by Step Drawing Tutorial

Autumn is the perfect time to try your hand at drawing woodland animals, after finishing this one why not try drawing a wolf or even learn how to draw a fox. Meanwhile, drawing an owl is also super easy.

Step 1

Start by drawing a boxy oval for the head. It doesn’t have to be perfect!

Step 2

Next, draw the outer lines for the ears and the line for the snout. The head should come out pretty nice.

Step 3

Finish the ears and draw ovals for the eyes and nose.

Step 4

Finish the head. Draw the mouth, circles for the eyes, and eyebrows. The bear’s head is done.

Step 5

Continue drawing a curve for the back.

Step 6

Draw two legs.

Step 7

Starting at the head, draw a curve to the front leg. Continue the curve from the front leg to the back leg to complete the belly.

Step 8

Draw another set of legs.

Step 9

Finish your drawing by drawing the bear’s tail and paws. Done! You have learned how to draw a bear!

Step 10

Last but not least in your bear drawing adventure is coloring the drawing.
