How to Draw a House – Step by Step Drawing Tutorial

One of the first things kids love to learn to draw is a house, so have them follow this easy step-by-step house drawing tutorial and they’ll be drawing a house in no time.

Drawing a house can be really easy and your children will love drawing it, along with a few drawings to represent their family. A perfect addition to an about me lesson at school.

Kids love to draw, but sometimes they need some guided drawing tutorials to spark their imagination. If they want a bit of a challenge, why not let them draw a car next to their drawing of a small house?

How to draw a house step by step

What you need:

Step 1

Have children start by drawing a straight line as the base for their house drawing.

Step 2

Raise the walls! Draw two vertical lines going up from the ground.

Step 3

Next comes the first part of the roof. draw au

Finished the roof.

Step 5

Draw the door in the center of the house. They can be round or rectangular, it doesn’t matter.

Step 6

Next, draw the windows. Depending on the space in your drawing, you can draw one, two, three, or even more windows.

Step 7

Add details to the windows and door knobs.

Step 8

Draw two vertical lines for the chimney. You can also draw some bushes.

Step 9

Add final details to the chimney.

Step 10

All has been done! You have learned how to draw a house. The only thing left to do is add a little color to your house plans.
