Once you’ve finished drawing the princess, why not try drawing a mermaid (or any other character from our extensive collection of drawing tutorials).
What you need:
Start by drawing the face. It’s easy, just draw a wide U shape.
Next are the facial features and neck. When it comes to the face, the eyes can be a bit tricky to draw, you can simply draw them by drawing dots instead of drawing the whole eye.
In the next step, we will close the face with the hairline.
Also, draw a U shape below the neck. We are making the dress part for this princess.
Next is the belt for the skirt. It might feel strange to draw something in the middle, but it will make the next steps much easier.
Next comes the shoulder pads (which resemble a C) and are the first part of the skirt.
Draw a line from the shoulder pad to the waist on both sides.
Simple arms. Drawing arms can be difficult, especially for young children, so keep them as simple as possible.
Draw the crown. And add details to the dress.
Last but not least, draw some hair. We decided our princess would have curly hair but your kids can draw any hairstyle they want.
Congratulations, you have learned how to draw a princess, the last thing to do is color it.
