Printable farm animal finger puppets
All printable farm animal puppets come as pre-colored puppets as well as black and white puppets that kids can color themselves (printer friendly).
We have a little pig, one of the children’s favorites.
A cow, also super popular.
A sheep or a lamb.
There cannot be a herd of cattle without goats.
A horse.
A dog is always in control of everything.
Next there is a duck.
A bunny is jumping.
Last but not least, there’s a donkey – which we’re sharing with you for free.
Instructions step by step
While each printed sheet has simple instructions, it is also a step-by-step guide that details each step on how to assemble these puppets.
If you print the black and white version, have your child color the puppets first.
Cut out the puppet. Your child can cut along a looser dashed line along each puppet (perfect for younger children) or cut out all the details.
Don’t forget to cut two strips of paper, they are extremely important.
Take the puppet’s body and fold it in three lines (one above the mouth, one in the middle, and one below).
Run your fingers over the folds.
Make sure the folds are nice and crisp.
Bring the top of your mouth to the bottom of your mouth. Press down.
Your puppet now looks like this.
The pig puppet comes with a snout, glued to the top of the head.
Take two strips of paper. Fold along the dashed lines. Apply glue to the designated area.
Now it looks like this.
Glue the paper strips to the back of the puppet.
