We’ll show you how to make a fun Wiggle Puppet Photo Holder using just a few inexpensive materials.

We really love using rocks for fun kids crafts and other projects, and they make the perfect base for making DIY photo stands.
We are excited to present to you this amazing photo stand that you can create using rocks and some other simple materials. It is super easy to make and super fun too.
If you’re looking for a classy project, just make decorative ice, but for a fun and cute look, be sure to add puppets too.
So let your child run outside, pick up some rocks, wash them with soap, let them dry, and they are ready to tackle this project.
How to make a shaking puppet photo stand
What you need:
- a palm sized stone
- a velvet stick
- two 1/8 velvet bars
- straw
- a big pom pom
- two smaller pom poms
- a small pom pom
- low temperature glue gun or glue dots
- a paper clip
- half ice cream stick
- Acrylic paint color of your choice
- a cotton swab
- two bulging eyes
And let’s start crafting!
Step by step instructions
Take a cotton swab and wrap it around your little finger to form a spiral.
Then open it up a little, apply some glue to the cotton twist stick and stick it on top of the rock.
Apply a little glue to the large pom-pom…
…and put the bulging eyes up.
Apply a little glue to the small shuttlecock…
…and put it on your head like a nose.
Apply a small amount of glue to two 1/8 inch strips of velvet…
…and put them on his head as if they were horns.
Apply a little glue to two small pom poms…
…and place them on the horns.
After applying a little glue to the head, …
…place it on top of the velvet twist bar.
Glue the spiral to the stone.
Use a straw to tie a knot around the popsicle stick.
Then wrap the straw around the popsicle stick and secure it with hot glue at the top.
Put some glue on the popsicle stick and place it on the rock, next to the rocking puppet.
Put a little glue on the paper clip…
…and glue it to the back of a popsicle stick.
Take a cotton swab, …
…cover the stone with some acrylic paint and make small dots on the stone.
Woo-hoo. Done!
