They don’t take much time to make and you can put them in vases, decorate around the house and enjoy the spring atmosphere.

This project is also easy to do, so you can enjoy your flowers in no time.

How to Make Paper Flowers Easily

What you need:

  • colored paper
  • drag
  • pencil
  • ruler
  • wooden stick
  • glue
  • hot glue
  • circular object

Let’s start crafting!

Step by step instructions

Purple flowers

To make this flower, first measure a 10cm long strip.

Draw a thick line. Then measure a 1cm strip beyond the 10cm strip and draw a light line.

Cut along the bold line.

Use scissors to cut the paper into strips.

Be careful not to go over the light line you marked. Keep the cut as straight as possible.

Start rolling the stripes.

Continue rolling until you have rolled all the strips.

To make the stem, cut two vertical strips out of green paper.

Apply a little glue and wrap the stripes around the wooden stick.

Apply a little glue to the rolled paper and start wrapping it around the wooden stick.

The paper rolls should face outward and upward as shown in the illustration.

Apply a little glue to seal the end.

The first flower is done.

Blue flower

For the second flower, draw 6 equal circles on colored paper.

Cut out the circles.

Fold each circle in half.

Next fold each half in half.

Fold each piece in half again.

Cut some strips as shown in the picture.

Open the circles.

Cut a straight line with a radius.

Apply a little glue to ¾ of the circle.

Begin rolling the 4th piece as shown until it forms a flower.

Let the glue dry.

Spread the flowers out.

They should look like this.

Cut the head of a flower.

Create the stem (same steps as in “Purple Flowers”), apply some hot glue to the head and attach the flower.

Apply more glue to both sides of the stem and carefully glue the other flowers on.
