Have we included your favorite insect yet? If not, please get in touch and let me know what kind of bug you’d like to color!

We’re starting with some of the most beautiful insects – butterflies and moths! Did you know that one of the things that makes moths and butterflies different is the shape of their antennas? Additionally, their body shapes are also different – butterflies are more slender while moths have plump, cute bodies. Tim understands more here.
This simple coloring page has two butterflies to color and some flowers sprinkled throughout.
This adorable pink and yellow fuzzy caterpillar is found in the eastern half of the United States.
While many bee species are solitary (meaning they do not interact socially), bumblebees and honeybees are both known to be social bees that live and work together (source). These two friends are stopping to share some nectar on a sunny day.
Weevils are small bugs found around the world. These goofy-looking bugs have won our hearts with their long snouts and big eyes.
Acorn beetles eat acorns and lay eggs in them. If you see an egg with a small hole, it could be a weevil larva chewing on the egg.
This funny looking guy is a fly mimicking weevil found in South America. He imitates a fly to fool his predators!
Whether you call them fireflies or lightning bugs, these amazing little bugs are famous for lighting up the night on summer evenings. They are a bit slow so catching and releasing them can be fun (humanely).
Here’s a cute insect poster that you can color to celebrate your appreciation for these important little creatures.
