Aren’t these the sweetest things? There are 10 different animal designs and each design has a pop-out paper heart.

You can give them out as-is or you can press the hearts down and stuff them inside an envelope.

How to make 3D heart-shaped animal cards

What you need:

  • printable cards (10 different animals with hearts in set)
  • pencil
  • drag
  • glue
  • coloring material (optional)
  • colored paper (optional for printing on hearts)

Step-by-step instructions

Choose the cards your child wants to create and print them out. You can use regular printer paper but we recommend using thicker paper or cardboard for cards. Hearts can be printed on regular printing paper.

Let’s make 3D heart rabbit cards together! Do not worry; All cards are made the same way.

Cut along the lines to cut out the card!

You can leave the card as is (it looks pretty good in black and white) or you can let your child color it.

Print the hearts on colorful paper or let kids get creative and color them themselves!

Cut out heart shapes.

Have children fold the heart in half lengthwise.

Apply glue to each half of the heart.

Once the glue is applied, it’s time to attach those hearts together!

Ask the child to carefully glue the halves together, overlapping each other.

Then, continue pasting half of the heart until it’s all gone.

We’ve created a dazzling 3D heart!

Finally, complete the masterpiece!

Have children paste a 3D heart shape on the card.

All has been done!

Which one is your favorite?

We think they are beautiful!

Let their creativity soar; Children can make as many adorable 3D heart-shaped cards as they wish.

Once completed, they can gift these heartfelt creations to those they love!
