Jellyfish Cupcake Liner Crafts

We always have a cupcake liner or two in the house because you never know when you’ll get a cupcake craving or an itch to make a simple craft – like this jellyfish cupcake liner craft!

To make these jellyfish cupcake liners you will need;

  • a cupcake liner or two (obviously)
  • tissue paper (or ribbon!!)
  • drag
  • glue and tape
  • rope
  • googly eyes, eye stickers or black marker to draw eyes

Start by cutting strips of tissue paper (or ribbon or whatever material you want to use). The more colors, the merrier, and you can cut them so they’re the same length or make some longer or shorter.

Glue the paper strips to the inside of the cupcake liner – not on the wall but on the bottom because this way the jellyfish umbrella will stand out more (and look cuter).

Flip it over and glue the string to the bottom of the cupcake liner (or to the top of the umbrella).

The final step is to add some googly eyes (or any other kind) to give this sea creature some personality!

These work great as decorations for an ocean themed birthday party – you can get a lot for your money as they are a cheap decoration but really look adorable.
