As the leaves have fallen off the trees, we thought it would be fun to use them up and make this leaf hedgehog craft.
We’ve been loving hedgehogs lately, we’ve made a pinecone hedgehog and an origami hedgehog!
Making crafts with natural materials is fun and making crafts with leaves is doubly fun because you can use this opportunity to teach kids about different types of leaves.
Leaf Hedgehog Craft
What you need
- leaves (oak, elm, birch or any similar leaves)
- black marker
- glue
- white paper
First, make sure your leaves are really dry or they will wrinkle.
Draw hedgehog spines and head details onto leaves and glue down onto white paper (glue and white glue are both great options for this craft).
Draw the little feet. Done!
